Find out more about the latest Vauxhall Combo.

The new Vauxhall Combo

The new Vauxhall Combo

In the year it celebrates its 18th birthday, the Vauxhall Combo has picked up several prestigious titles, including being named Van of the Year 2019 at the Auto Express Awards. The new Combo was released in October 2018 and has already proven to be popular among drivers and fleet managers alike.

Let’s take a look at why Vauxhall is picking up all of these awards with the latest release of the already popular Combo van.

Models

Available in three trims, with several different variants
The Combo is available in three trims: Edition, Sportive and Limited Edition Nav. Each trim comes in two lengths and one roof height (L1 H1 and L2 H1), and the Crew Van is based on the L2 H1 version.

Even the most basic ‘Edition’ trim, which is popular for among fleets, comes with heated electric door mirrors, electric windows and a single sliding side door as standard.

Driving

An impressive range of engines
The combo line up is available in several different engine options that all boast impressive fuel consumption ranging from 64 to 67 MPG. With both petrol and diesel engines to choose from, there’s a Combo van to suit every business and a driver’s annual mileage and payload.

And, thanks to its Vauxhall suspension and light steering, the new Combo is easier to drive and more comfortable for passengers than ever before.

Cargo

Makes light work of heavy loads
With a total cargo space ranging from 3.8 to 4.4m3 and a c1.0T payload, the Combo is equipped to carry everything you need for work. And thanks to its clever design features, it also has great accessibility with low loading height and sliding side-access rear doors.

Drivers have two wheelbases to choose from, as well as the option to add the FlexCargo Pack which turns the Combo into a three-seater, giving the Combo a versatile edge.

Technology

Advanced in-car technology and smart safety features
Packed with the very latest driver assistance programmes, the all-new Combo has more technology than ever before.

The Flank Guard system alerts drivers to nearby obstacles like pillars or barriers, which means common scuffs and bumps are easier to avoid. And with advanced features like lane-keep assist and a drowsiness alert, it’s clear that Vauxhall take driver safety very seriously.

Design

Style without compromising substance
With a square body shape, a unique sporty finish and its distinctive clear glass headlamps, the Combo certainly looks the part. And, on closer inspection, the latest model from Vauxhall is both stylish and practical in equal measure.

The interior cabin has a premium feel to it. There’s an 8-inch colour touchscreen infotainment system and all of the mod cons and controls you’d expect are at the driver’s fingertips.
