Used Peugeot 3008 GT-Line-Premium cars in stock

Since it first hit the roads in 2009, the Peugeot 3008 has undergone a dramatic style evolution. The Mk2 Peugeot 3008 changed its appearance, as it morphed from a rounded estate to a sharp, sporty-looking compact SUV that’s ideal for families. Over the years, the Peugeot 3008 has positioned itself as an attractive rival to family-focused SUVs like the Kia Sportage GT-Line S, Volkswagen Tiguan SEL and Nissan Qashqai Tekna+.

Peugeot 3008 GT Line Premium history

The Peugeot 3008 was designed to fill a gap in the market for Peugeot models, sitting between the manufacturer’s small family car, the 308, and the mid-size crossover SUV, the 5008. Peugeot’s decision was a savvy one, as the 3008 has picked up many accolades to date. They include Auto Trader’s 2019 ‘New Car of the Year’ title, and four consecutive titles of Carbuyer’s ‘Best Medium SUV’ from 2016 to 2020.

The Mk2 Peugeot 3008 was released in 2016 with four trims: Active, Allure, GT and GT Line. This range was updated in 2018 when the GT Line Premium was launched. This trim combines the features of both the GT and GT Line and includes them as standard, making this a truly top-level offering.

This version of the Peugeot 3008 GT Line Premium comes with Alcantara upholstery, front parking sensors, a massage function on the driver’s seat and front seat heating for added luxury. Unlike the previous top-level GT Line trim, the GT Line Premium is available with all of the model’s engines, including two petrol and diesel units and two plug-in hybrids.

In the petrol range, there is a 1.2-litre, 130bhp option, which goes from 0-62mph in 10.8 seconds with 230Nm of torque. The 1.6-litre petrol has 178bhp, 250Nm of torque and goes from 0-62mph in 8 seconds. The diesel engines include a 1.5-litre, 130bhp unit with 300Nm of torque, which helps it go from 0-62mph in 10.8 seconds. There is also a 2.0-litre engine with 180bhp and a 0-62mph time of 8.9 seconds. It also has 400Nm of torque.

The hybrids are a 1.6-litre petrol hybrid, which can produce either 180bhp or 225bhp, or a Hybrid4 engine with 200bhp and a 0-62mph time of 5.8 seconds. The third generation of the model launched in 2023 with three trims: Active, Allure and GT, with the GT Line Premium not included in the initial lineup.

Where does the Peugeot 3008 GT Line Premium sit in the range?

As the name suggests, the range-topping GT Premium trim was the Peugeot 3008 at its most premium. Though it is no longer available, being replaced by the range-topping GT trim from 2022, there are lots of used Peugeot 3008 GT Line Premium vehicles on the used car market.

The GT Line Premium delivers plenty of extra comfort and technology to improve your drive, including self-parking capabilities, a Focal sound system and heated massage seats.

What features and equipment does the 3008 GT Line Premium have?

The Peugeot 3008 GT Line Premium has a sportier look than other trims, thanks to its chequered front grille and angular body shape. The interior is plush, with soft Alcantara and supple leather seats sitting between stitched-leather doors. The GT Line Premium also comes with keyless start.

The GT Line Premium is packed with technological features to enhance the driving experience. For instance, the instrument gauges have been replaced with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, displaying metrics like speed, revs and mpg in an easy-to-read way.

The car is equipped with a 360-degree camera and a self-parking Park Assist function, which can detect parking spaces and manoeuvre the car into both parallel and bay spots. It also has an electric boot, which opens with a wave of your foot under a sensor (only if the car is unlocked).

When it comes to navigation and media, a ten-inch touchscreen houses the car’s infotainment system, with standard Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. There are eight speakers strategically positioned around the car and a high-spec Focal sound system that delivers a customisable audio experience.

One of the 3008’s most unique selling points is its i-Cockpit system and Amplify feature. When it’s set to Relax mode, it will activate the driver’s seat’s massage capabilities to soothe tightness in your neck, back and shoulders. This can be set up by voice or by touch.
