The four-team, round-robin international tournament saw each side play each other once.

The tournament kicked off on 16th February at Stadium MK as Italy beat South Korea 2-1 and England thrashed Belgium 6-1. Three days later, in front of 32,128 fans, the highest-ever attendance at the Coventry Building Society Arena, England beat Italy 2-1 before Belgium overcame South Korea with the same scoreline.

In the final round of matches at Bristol City's Ashton Gate Stadium, Belgium defeated Italy 2-1 and England cruised to a 4-0 victory over South Korea.

There was an incredible atmosphere at each of the games, with thousands of fans sporting the iconic Arnold Clark sunglasses and foam fingers..

Arnold Clark Group People Director Carol Henry handed over the trophy to England who were crowned champions for the second year running.

Carol said: 'This year's Arnold Clark Cup was a major success, and it was great to see that everyone enjoyed it.

'We were delighted to return as headline sponsors and we’re already looking forward to next year's tournament.

'We’re excited to have this opportunity to continue to build connections within the women’s football community and hopefully the Arnold Clark Cup will inspire a new generation of footballing stars!'
