Yangwang is BYD’s premium brand, with the U8 being one of its flagship models. At 5.8 meters long, the U8 is a huge luxury SUV to rival the Land Rover Defender. However, with a weight of 3.6 tonnes, the U8 has not been cleared for UK sale due to most drivers needing a special licence to drive one.
Regardless of this, the U8 is a car any enthusiast must experience in person to appreciate how remarkable it truly is. One of its most impressive features is the tank-turn function, allowing the huge SUV to rotate fully while remaining in one place.
We’re taking the Yangwang on a Roadshow from Aberdeen all the way to Newcastle.
