The all-new MGS5 EV is a compact electric SUV built with the cutting-edge Modular Scalable Platform (MSP). This newcomer is set to be the successor of the popular MG ZS EV, and its new design is based on the sleek, award-winning MG4 EV hatchback.
The Modular Scalable Platform (MSP) is a vehicle platform that can be used in a variety of models. This type of platform is used in the MG4 EV hatchback, allowing for a wider range of model gradient coverage and improved battery energy density.
Other benefits include improved battery efficiency, and enhanced interior space and luggage capacity.
The MGS5 EV is similar to the Škoda Elroq, Hyundai Kona Electric and Kia EV3.
Prices have not been confirmed, but the all-new MGS5 EV is set to start from £30,000.
