Reversing around a corner is one of three reverse manoeuvres that you might be asked to do on your driving test. As with all manoeuvres the examiner will be making sure you are observing your surroundings as you carry it out.
On your test the examiner is looking for you:
to finish the manoeuvre in a safe position.
