You could win a car if you participate.

14,000 people participated in the Kiltwalk in 2017.

The Kiltwalk is back again for 2018 and Arnold Clark is proud to support these amazing mass participation events. Our Roadies will in attendance at all of the events to provide some encouragement as well as some shortbread and weather protection in the form of ponchos or (hopefully) some stylish shades. On top of all that, every walker will be entered into a prize draw to win a car.

What is the Kiltwalk anyway?

The Kiltwalk is a series of walking events held throughout Scotland designed to help raise money for charity. In 2017, 14,000 people took part, raising £2.3 million for 780 good causes. In 2018, we’re expecting even more fundraisers to get their kilts on. The event is backed by The Hunter Foundation and their support means that every walker’s fundraising total is topped up by an extra 40%.

Where and when are the 2018 Kiltwalks?

There are four Kiltwalks throughout the year, kicking off on 29th April with the Glasgow Kiltwalk. That’s followed up by the Aberdeen Kiltwalk on 3rd June and the Dundee Kiltwalk on 19th August. The final Kiltwalk of the year takes place in Edinburgh on 16th September.

How far do I have to walk?

Each event has three walking distances available – The Wee Wander, The Big Stroll and The Mighty Stride. The Wee Wander is just six miles long and suitable for the whole family. The Big Stroll is up to 15 miles ¬¬– perfect for those looking to test their walking stamina. Finally, The Mighty Stride offers the ultimate walking challenge with a marathon distance of up to 26 miles.

So how can I win a car?

All you have to do is register and then take part in one of the Kiltwalks and you’ll be entered into a prize draw. There’s a car to be won at each event, and this year’s lucky winners will drive away in a brand-new Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 Sri.
