Arnold Clark is delighted to have won a top prize at the inaugural Women's Football Awards in London.

We picked up the Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the event in London, which celebrated the players, people, brands and organisations who are contributing to the phenomenal growth of the sport.

The award recognised the positive impact that our CSR activities have had on fans, communities, grassroots initiatives, environment, employees and other stakeholders in women’s football.

While Arnold Clark continues to support local schools, charities and community groups, we were also proud to host the second edition of the Arnold Clark Cup earlier this year.

Through our sponsorship of the Arnold Clark Cup, we have built invaluable connections within women’s football and worked with local communities to raise awareness of the game. In turn, we hope this can inspire a new generation of footballing stars.

A host of big names were nominated for the award, including Barclays, EA Sports and Cinch. However, a star-studded judging panel made up of Lionesses and sports media personalities selected Arnold Clark as the winner.

Emily Walker, Head of Media and Brand Marketing at Arnold Clark, said: 'It's a real honour to pick up this award at the Women's Football Awards.

'At Arnold Clark, we strongly believe in thinking beyond the company, giving back to the communities we serve and support, and embracing opportunities to help.

'This is demonstrated through our continued support of local schools, charities, community groups and sports teams; as well as our significant investment in high-level sponsorships close to our heart.

'It was also great to have the Arnold Clark Cup back this year, and it proved to be huge success with a record number of fans in attendance. We're already looking forward to next year!'

The Women’s Football Awards were hosted by former Chelsea and England international Eni Aluko and ex-Liverpool star and Sky Sports presenter Jamie Carragher, who were joined by leading personalities from the women’s game alongside top celebrities and broadcasters.
