Arnold Clark Protect Guarantee
- We guarantee the effectiveness of the Protect Paint Sealant and InteriorGard for a period of five years when applied to new and used vehicles.
- Any areas repaired or replaced through accident or damage should be immediately re-treated with the product by an authorised dealer.
- Before any guarantee work is carried out, permission must be obtained from Arnold Clark Protect.
- Guarantees are not transferrable.

Paint Sealant
What is covered?
Within the guarantee period, Arnold Clark Protect or an appointed agent will undertake to rectify or re-treat Your vehicle free of charge in the event of:
- General colour fading of the exterior.
- Noticeable deterioration of the gloss finish.
Exclusions:
- Damage to paintwork caused by tree sap and bird droppings.
- Specific marks or damage (on paintwork) caused by stone chippings or scratches.
- Any areas repaired or replaced through accident or damage not re-treated with Arnold Clark Protect.
- Damage to paintwork caused by mechanical carwashes.
- Manufacturer paint defects.
InteriorGard
What is covered?
Within the guarantee period, Arnold Clark Protect will undertake to clean any soiled area and re-apply the protective treatment free of charge in the event of:
- Any stains to the fabric interior and carpets as a result of spills from water, coffee, soft drinks, milk or any similar liquids.
Exclusions:
- Damage from sharp or blunt object which tear or scrape the fabric interior and carpets.
- Damage caused by paint or industrial oil spillages.
Recommendations on how to care for Your vehicle
Exterior Paintwork:
- Regular washing with Amold Clark Protect shampoo will help avoid excess build-up of dirt and pollutants. Bird droppings, and plant deposits, such as tree sap, should be removed as soon as possible, ideally within 24/48 hours or they can cause longterm damage.
- The prolonged effects of atmospheric pollution and/or acid rain may also cause paint defects, as may industrial deposits such as railway brake dust and the like. All such contamination should be washed off as soon as possible.
Fabric interiors and carpets:
- When spills occur, remove as soon as possible by pressing a clean, dry towel or any other clean, dry, absorbent material against the spill to remove most of the liquid, apply a mild cleaning solution and vacuum if necessary. This will not damage the treatment.
- Never rub at stains, this only pushes staining deeper into the fibres and can damage the fabric. Dabbing is always best.
In the event of accidental damage:
- Inform the repairer assessing the damage that the vehicle has been treated with Arnold Clark Protect so that the re-treatment of the repaired panel(s) etc can be included in the quote given to the insurance company.
- Upon completion of the repair, obtain and retain documentary evidence of the re-treatment.
