Alpine A110 updates and facelifts

Launched in 2017, the Alpine A110 was redesigned from its original model from the 1960s for modern drivers, retaining some of its original design elements , such as the front bumper and bonnet.

In 2021, the A110 received a facelift which updated the suspension kit and made some subtle design changes to the interior. These changes included the introduction of a seven-inch infotainment screen with smartphone connectivity, new upholstery and leather and aluminium highlights.

Practicality and style of the car

Both the driver and front passenger can enjoy high levels of comfort in the Alpine A110. The sports seats are supportive and come with plenty of adjustment. They can also come with a heated option to help make winter morning drives more enjoyable and warmer. The narrow door sills make getting in and out of the vehicle easy and legroom and headroom are also good for the size of this two-seater vehicle.

The driver's seat sits comfortably within reach of the steering wheel, pedals and paddle shifters, making driving the Alpine A110 feel natural and smooth. The Alpine A110 has 196 litres of storage space, which is split between a larger rear boot space and, due to its lowered engine, and an additional front storage space. This offers drivers enough space to store small to medium-sized luggage.

There are a couple of storage spaces in the cabin of the Alpine A110. These include a cubby located on the central console that can be used to stow away personal items such as smartphones, wallets or keys. There is also a cup holder on the central console. The A110 can also come with a storage net in the back of the cabin to store larger items such as rucksacks or handbags.

The dimensions of the car mean that it can fit into some of the tightest spaces in cities and towns and navigate narrow city streets and winding lanes with ease.

Running costs

As a luxury model, the Alpine A110 fall in insurance groups 44 to 50 and has an annual road tax of £570. In comparison to its rivals, it falls into a similar insurance group bracket as the Porsche 718-Cayman, which sits in groups 42 to 50.
