With close competition from the Renault Captur, Nissan Juke and Škoda Kamiq, the 2008 was given a facelift in 2016, adding new engines and a stylish new front grille to elevate its sleek profile. The Mk2 was launched in 2019. For Mk2 models from 2020 onwards, a used Peugeot 2008 may come with a fully electric engine. The e-2008 offers 134bhp and 250Nm of torque. It can go from 0-62mph in nine seconds, boasts a top speed of up to 93mph and a quoted range of up to 200 miles between charges thanks to its 50kWh battery.
